This site was whipped together on a Sunday afternoon, published it on the Monday. My father had been nagging me about posting our lists online. So I wrote this to shut him up and possibly help co-ordinate future list sharing.

There are plenty of bugs and pieces missing but it's a work in progress. Feel free to contact me if you have any comments/suggestions.

This site has only been tested extensively in Chromium 4 (Google Chrome) and Firefox 3.5

• UPDATE Dec 10, 2021 After 11 years with no updates it was time!!! I almost destroyed the project because it was too old and modernizing it was going to be a hassle with little payoff. However I had been looking for a simple project to learn Vue.js and so here we are. The project lives on and now uses some "reactive" components and I've learned something new. I've also removed a bit of functionality in the effort to save time and keep the app for what it was...Family
• UPDATE Nov 29, 2010: Ramping up for xmas time again. Bit of a modernization overhaul and integration of Facebook for auth.
• UPDATE Dec 23, 2009: Added one of the major upcoming changes, which allows you to flag an item as purchased on someone else's list. The list owner is NOT notified of this update. This did introduce a new bug that displays the incorrect time an item was added. Will fix when I have time.
• UPDATE Dec 16, 2009: Added user profiles which allow for avatars etc. This is in preparation of some other significant changes in the works.
• UPDATE Dec 6, 2009: Site should now be fully functional in IE7 and 8, Firefox 3+ and Chromium 4+
• UPDATE Dec 3, 2009: Open to registration. Need an account? Just register!
• UPDATE Dec 2, 2009: RSS feeds have been added to individual lists. You can now monitor a list via RSS
